Can't use installed Scanner

Got new, fast machine w/W2K & moved PI99 over; could convert for a while, then suddenly stopped working like on old machine. Have tried WITH & WITHOUT Media Manger installed (makes no diff.). Editing pictures with Paint
I am thinking driver problems, but just wondered if anyone had any other suggestions. It has Win 95 on it, is an old Tandy 486 with 2x CD ROM, has it mainly for his granddaughter to use, but she is getting bored with MS Paint and I can't give her any of my goodies because they are all on CD. Any advice appreciated.

I've lost the MS paint icon that is normally displayed for a .bmp file. The windows wallpaper .bmp's display a small picture of themselves for the icon but other bmp's including the shortcut to create a .bmp file out of the "new" section of the context menu also displays the generic Windows icon instead of the MS

New Netscape probl. in win98
What was amazing to me was that there was only one XP file infested (MSPaint). My w98 partition was destroyed. And I hadn't used w98 for weeks before the infestation. The new (raw) installation of xp yielded the same results. I still think there might be a way. but for twenty bucks, it's not worth waiting for.

Using a picture (Form Template) as background in a report?
