I am think of a new approach which has all the pattern sets drawn (using a different application like Visio (drawing package), MS Power Point (Line drawing), or MS Paint (getting a .bmp). I assume here that MS Paint is your default handler of bmp files. You still can manipulate with it through DDE, but it probably does not worth efforts. We need to export those shapes (objets) into a jpg or bmp file. The manual way will be to select the shape (object) goto edit copy then open ms paint file, new save and paste from clipboard. memory leak
